Prayer & Care Ministry

We want to be a praying church! Join us for our weekly Prayer Gathering: every Wednesday evening, 7:00-8:00pm at the church.

God has given us a heart to care for people in their season of need by offering prayer, support and compassion . Whether you are facing a medical challenge, have recently had a baby, or are simply in a difficult circumstance, we can help. Whether you need a visit from someone who actually cares, the Elders to bring you Communion, or in need of some home-cooked meals delivered right to your door, let us know how we can care for you by sending us an email. You may also want to be put on our confidential prayer list. We would be honored to pray for you in whatever you are facing.

"And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations (people groups) will hear it; and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14 (NLT) Our ambition is to preach the gospel where Christ is not known. (from Romans 15:20) The gospel, "the Good News," is meant to be shared with all people groups in all nations (Mk 16:15; Mt 24:14; 28:18-20; Rev 7:9; Acts 1:8).

In January of 2018, three members of the Global Missions Team went to India for a vision trip to see If God might be calling Epic to serve there in some capacity. We believe His answer is "YES!" Our vision is to focus on unengaged and unreached Muslim people groups and eventually send a Church-based Team (CBT)!

Our next trip to India will be in the Fall of 2019 to do a "Compassion India" Dental and Medical Clinic on the campus of a local ministry there. For more information, contact our India Mission Trip Team Leader, Justin Ballard at

Please consider supporting our "Goers" by being a "Sender." You can help in these ways:
1) By praying. If you want to be part of our Global Missions Prayer Team, send an email to and we will send you periodic prayer requests.

2) By contibuting financially. Please don't take away from your tithe. This would be an offering in addition to your tithe. You can: give electronically via our "Give" webpage or mail a check payable to Epic Christian Church (with 'India Mission Trip' in memo line) to:

At least two times a year we partner with 1Mission ( and Broadway Christian Church to go to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico to build a family a home in just three days! This is a great starting point to learn more about missions and to help develop a heart for other cultures without having to go overseas. Cost per person is normally about $350, but sometimes scholarships are available and fundriasing will be done. Our next trip is during Spring Break, March 16-19 (Fri.-Mon.). More  information or to sign up, please contact our Trip Team Leaders, Chuck & Norma Bellanger at

In the Fall of 2012 the family of Epic Christian Church joined forces with Compassion International, STADIA, and a indigenous church planting organization in Ecuador to plant a new church in the country of Ecuador. This unique partnership allowed us to pay for the church property, build the buildings for the church and get the Compassion International Sponsorship programs up and running in that community. The most exciting part about this project is that our church family has been able to individually sponsor over 30 children through Compassion who are a part of the Mt. Olives and surrounding churches..

Compassion QC 2019: Saturday, March 2nd
Once again, Epic Christian church will join the Compassion Queen Creek team, and other local churches, for the annual Compassion Queen Creek medical and dental clinic. This is one of the most incredible outreach events that our church is involved with all year. For more information about the event and how you can get involved, please go here:

The purpose of the Benevolence Ministry is to draw people closer to Christ by helping to meet their basic financial needs in times of crisis or transition, according to biblical directives and fiscal constraints. The Benevolence Fund is intended as a source of last resort, to be used when the family or individual requesting assistance has explored all other possibilities of help from family, friends, savings, or investments. It is intended to be a temporary help during a time of crisis or transition. Click on the button below to get started with your application .

Once your application is complete send it to the following email: You will hear back from us within a few days.
