Church Planting

What is church planting? We're so glad you asked. Church Planting is very simply the process of beginning a new church. This can be done in an emerging community like the Queen Creek/San Tan area, a renewing area like downtown Phoenix, or in an area that has never been reached with the Gospel of Christ.

Because Epic was a church that was planted with the help of four other East Valley churches (Central Christian Church of the East Valley, Chandler Christian Church, Broadway Christian Church, and Spring of Life Christian Church) and a national church planting organization called Stadia, we believe very much in the church planting process. In fact, church planting is so strongly built into our "DNA" that we continue to partner with Stadia, as well as with other individual churches, to start new congregations where they are needed most. Currenlty 1% of our budget goes directly back into church planting. In 2012 those funds helped to lauch around 20 brand new churches. In 2013 those same dollars will help to start nearly 30 congregations throughout the United States.

Besides working through Stadia, Epic also partners directly with specific churches as they get started. In 2007 we helped to launch our sister congregation, Real Life Christian Church, in Gilbert and in 2010 helped to lanuch New City Church in downtown Phoenix.
